The first Friday UFA show started off with a heavy dose of Gamecock baseball. Tim previewed Carolina's weekend at Texas A&M. Former Gamecock baseball stars Trey Dyson (04:00 mark) checked in to update the status of UFA's adopted team North Greenville after winning their first game at the Conference Carolinas tournament. Head NGU coach and fellow former Gamecock star Landon Powell (09:28) chimed in on the team's Happy Gilmore approach to staying loose and playing well.

Former Gamecock football star Syvelle Newton (1:06:55) joined the show and let us in on his business BU4U LOVEYOURSELF, reflected back on his tremendous Carolina career that wasn't without complications, and weighed in on the current climate of football in the state of South Carolina.
