The end of the world didn’t come by means of climate change or an asteroid impact or the second coming of Jesus or through the fulfillment of some religious prophecy. Instead, the end of days came with the arrival of an advanced alien civilization and their apocalyptic invasion. The number of aliens were as grains of sand on the beach. The number of alien spaceships seemed to rival the stars in the sky.
First, they destroyed our capitals. Next, they annihilated prominent religious sites around the world. The size of their ships was incomprehensible. The appearance of the aliens was ghastly.
I was on campus at the University of South Carolina when they arrived. I witnessed the destruction of the state capitol and I survived that first dreadful day. This is my eyewitness account.
