Welcome back to Queer PoliFaith! We are starting our look at Supreme Court cases from the last term. Today, we will be looking at First Choice v. Davenport, a case relating to crisis pregnancy centers and their 1st Amendment rights. This is a short episode because the decision was a short decision (25 pages) and was unanimous with no concurrences or dissents.

Before the case, I talk about how this half of the season will proceed and how it is different from past years. I also spend about 10 minutes or so at the end talking to more moderate Democrats about how they need to "vote blue no matter who".

There is swearing in this episode for those who are sensitive to that sort of thing.

Our next episode, on August 20, will be about 2 criminal justice cases.
