Trisha and Dana give several definitions of hypocrisy .  They also give examples of Christian and non-Christians practicing hypocrisy.  Mathew 6 : 1-5 .  The challenge is to self-evaluate by not falling into hypocrisy.   As Christians we sometimes believe we should not be held to a certain standard . We justify our actions because its my Family.
