the Amazon rainforest has just hit another unlikely and unwanted recording that it's been deforested at a record rate in April of this year. Now the thing is, we all know, and I'm not environmental scientist. But I think most people know that the Amazon supplies roughly 6% of the world's oxygen. That's quite a lot on. It's also a lot of dough to being emitted into the atmosphere when these trees were cut down. Now I hate to say it again. What feels like while the world is looking at Ukraine, what Putin's up to a lot of world leaders and just using this excuse to just do whatever the hell they like and plough on President Bolton Arrow says that the money from the deforestation would be used for the people of Brazil. Really, that old chestnut, Here's all the money for you people, and not just for me and my cabal. I mean, come on, accept. This time you could have deadly consequences for 6% of the world's population. Well, actually, more than that, I mean, let's be fair. I mean, if there was a machine that physically made oxygen and there's all these machines around the world on this. Somebody started taking apart pieces of it and selling it off. Whatever way I know either call them terrorists or invade or whatever. But trees don't seem to have that same sort of importance. Dear Keith. Only when the last tree has gone we discovered that you can't breathe. Dear rainforest. I wonder if there's some sort of way the world could annex you in the name of humanity. But right now there's a lot going on, and annexation is not the good idea that everyone seems to think it might be. I may be nice to think that sanctions might stop about sanctions, can't even save people, so how can they save trees?
