So it's getting all of attention, which is great. There's been a lot of gushing about how good it is. But then, of course, there has to be some anti gushing, as it is the storey of a young woman and the uncertainty of her life. That particular truck has been covered by the likes of fleabag on most critical week films. I've always been a sucker for the underdog small European film with the good idea of taking on the massive Hollywood acting showcase of the fantastic budget. So let's hear from the director Joachim Trier. Dear Keith, I want to return to a golden age of romantic comedies. But in doing so, I also wanted to celebrate the idea that loving oneself is more important than being loved by more people than anyone else are the monogamous, the rail, Romantic heroes of our times Dear You, Akeem. It's Admiral. How you want to reserve a freshness of romance in an era of swiping for sex and women, where multiple encounters could sometimes be seen is replacing meaningful ones. I love film a while. Some find flaws with whether or not it's a comedy be found in years. I mean, it's not hilarious, but this plenty of charm on the lead. Renata rents for Hold the whole thing together effortlessly while being compared to fleabag. Is it helpful? It's no harm to anyone. Career being compared to Phoebe Waller Bridge. Seen how it's done for her? For me, it's got this beautiful cinematic moment into the kind of moment that's missing from thousands of Netflix and Amazon streamers coming out every week. It's got the kind of Cinema Paradiso moment you love to see Cut it preserves over this. It deserves to be swiped right on. Thank you
