Jesus believed in prayer and lived a life of prayer on the earth.  His ascension into Heaven positioned Him at the right hand of the Father, and Jesus is there making intercession for us; pleading our cause and aids or assists us--presents our interests before the mercy seat in the heavens!! (Luke 18:1)
