The underlying ambience was produced by the Transfuser plugin, a self-contained sampler and mixing unit which can be (sort of) controlled by MIDI notes within the DAW. On top of this I layered the Orb Chords and associated bass, arpeggio and melody units, doubled with other instruments to beef them up a bit. Other than that there's only a bit of reverb on the master and the usual Ozone balancing.
