Some tracks are carefully constructed and others come out of nowhere. This was somewhere in between. I started by layering four instruments -- Purple 2, Scandiclavia 2, Helm and Hunter's Ampex Ecosystems on the Decent Sampler -- all playing arpeggiated chords, then pulled them out one by one to play melodies over the top. Then I jazzed it up with the Finga preset on the Bitwig Drum Machine, and glued it all together with a nice drone from Polarity. Once I got the right instruments, it more or less fell into place.
