Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr wrote, “Some people are so heavenly minded that they are of no earthly good.”
This quote has been used to criticize Christians who do little to no work for God here on the earth. Now while that quote may seem proper in it's context, the truth is as follows; if an individual is a true servant of God, than them being heavenly bound would have a greater effect toward the things here on earth.
I know there are those who say things with the sole purpose of sounding fancy or wanting to be seen, but it needs to stop.
