Fancy a cuppa? It’s Tea Time with IGNITE!
Fourteen producers, fourteen productions, two brilliant weeks.
We are IGNITE - a theatre festival that provides a platform for Mountview’s MA Creative Producers to explore their vision and practice in collaboration with artists.
So sit back and relax with our host Jenny Shpeter whilst we chat about all things IGNITE - the highs, lows and everything in between.
In this episode, Georgi Bessey and Sophie Hack sit down with Jenny and discuss their journies into producing, their IGNITE shows, and their Teatime shoutout's!
Georgi's Teatime shoutout is The Market Place Peckham! The Market Place is a marketplace made up of lots of different food stalls and local businesses, it's pretty much a hub where small and local businesses can congregate. Georgi's favourite of all the local vendors is Pasta Is Ready, which is a delightful pasta restaraunt that serves so many different kinds of fresh pasta and lasagna. The Market Place is only a 4 minute walk from Mountview, and a 4 minute walk from Peckham Rye station, and there's so many different options to choose from, so absolutely check it out if you find youreslf craving a tasty meal after some wonderful theatre! You can find out about Market Place, and it's different vendors here: https://www.marketplacelondon.co.uk/about-us
Sophie's Teatime shoutout is The Greyhound Pub, in Peckham! Sophie's shoutout is specific to their chunky chips, with garlicky mayo, but The Greyhound has a lovely menu with lots of vegan and vegetarian options also (special shoutout from Jenny and Rebecca to their korean chicken wings!). The Greyhound is located a minute's walk from Mountview, and a 6 minute walk from Peckham Rye station. They have lots of deals and offers on at the minute as their quite new to Peckham! Head to their website to keep up to date: https://www.thequeenshouse.co.uk/greyhound.
