For some of those who have just met me recently, it may come as a surprise that I was a certified personal trainer for years! Before that I was what you call a fitness enthusiast... requirements: 1) working in order to spend all your money on early Gymshark + Alphalete launches, supplements, meal prep containers - even though you were never prepping for a show, 2) a front desk job to secure multiple memberships for the cheapest monthly price and 3) a crush on any semi-attractive Mr. Olympia winner. Also bonus points if you made an entirely different Instagram handle for your fitness fun and no @rennyhunter_fit no longer exists! It's technically this page but because fitness then became my career I stopped posting on my "personal" which is @renny_hunter - if you're at all interested with what that page ended up being...
I guess that's my long winded way of introducing this new "mini" series... "MIC'D UP WORKOUTS" is not an original idea... no, but let's put our Renny Hunter spin on it anyways! We're calling it a "mini" series and/or season because I want it to come back for future installments. Whereas thus far there have been no season repeats.
Now that we've got all of that out of the way, I'd like to introduce our first guest to do a Mic'd Up Workout drumroll Dougless Marroquin a Stamford boxing athlete training out of Revolution Boxing. This year he's representing the town at one of the most prestigious tournaments around the USA - The 2023 Golden Gloves Finals.
