It appears that the days of sharing Netflix passwords could soon be over. The streaming giant drove quite some chatter this weekend, following news companies testing a new feature that would charge people to add multiple profiles to an account. The scheme is currently being trialed in three countries. Chili, Costa Rica and Peru. Each person will be able to create their own profile with personalized recommendations, log in and password, or for less than the cost of a separate Netflix plan. The years Netflix is pretty much a blind eye password sharing. I mean, even the C e. O of Hastings has gone too far to call it a positive thing in the past. But with its subscriber growth dwindling thanks to their murders of competitive streaming platforms like Max Disney Plus and who it's Kid Netflix need the money. But consumers unhappy. In January, Netflix announce it would increase the price of the most popular subscription from $14 to 15 50. It's second price increase in two years. Earlier this month, Netflix Marvel shows moved to Disney. Plus on top of this, several T V favorites from the service has been canceled over the past few years. In this ongoing battle among streaming platforms, Does Netflix really stand a chance? I mean, people already comparing it to Blockbuster, and we all know how that turned out.
