What is Haggai prophesying?

1. It is better to live for God’s kingdom > our comfort (Haggai 1:1-11)

2. Our God works in/through our obedience - for his glory and our good (Haggai 1:12-15)

3. Our God empowers us in our obedience through his own presence (Haggai 2:1-9)

4. And even when we fail, our God blesses us with undeserving blessings (Haggai 2:10-19)

5. Our God himself establishes his kingdom through his chosen servant (Haggai 2:20-23)
