In today's episode the twin sister duo, Jaye Madison, talks about their new single release and music video for "Catch 22." The girls share the purpose behind the song, how it was written, and the technical aspects of how the music video came together. The project was a special collaboration that featured an all-female crew and brought to light the cultural conflict's that young American women face around self-love and self-image. Coincidentally, all of the women involved also shared a history of autoimmune disease. This collaboration acted as a platform to discuss the issues that this under-represented group faces while de-stigmatizing the shame and secrecy that shrouds this demographic. Another unique aspect of this project was that it was executed on a minuscule budget! We talk in length about getting creative with resources on a shoe-string budget and the power of building a community in order to create professional work. Check out the full video to hear about the big heartfelt message that the girls share with the world!
