Next Generation Leaders celebrates the achievements of young alumni of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. In this episode we talk to Maggie Vanoni (2019), a sports reporter for Hearst Connecticut Media Group.

Vanoni graduated from the SOJC in 2019 with a degree in journalism. As a student she completed numerous reporting internships and joined student groups such as the UO Track Bureau, the Society for Professional Journalists, and the Association for Women in Sports Media. Her work has been published in The Washington Post, The Seattle Times, The OC Register, The Knoxville News Sentinel and The Register-Guard.
