Multiple benefits e.g. you don't criticise people but their ways
Some pitfalls to avoid - not an excuse to justify wrong behaviours or transferring mental burden to others (that need to adjust to your weird ways)

Design people can inspire us in dealing with problems embracing complexity and tapping into multiple resources and humanities.
IDEO is fascinating in the way that they think about people, the way that they think about recruiting. They describe their ideal employee as a T-shaped person. The horizontal stroke of the T means that this is a person that is deeply interested and able to engage fluently in lots and lots of different topics, but the vertical stroke of the T is their expertise, their deep expertise in one area.

This is a perspective from reading the book 4000 weeks - Time management for mortals
Let’s ponder the fact that we barely live in the present as we constantly think about future outcomes. We differ value forward but never cash out.
One solution is to look for task oriented actions versus time oriented actions. Look for leisure hobbies as opposed to self improvement hobbies that are future focused activities. Many creative endeavours fit this mindset.
The metric should be about matching your to-do lists and your available time" as opposed to doing more things.
What if you knew there's never going to be enough time?

Mentors are essential in business but who does have a mentor? What makes a great a mentor?
A good mentor will act as a coach helping with listening, challenging and ideating but most importantly supporting you. He/She will add a layer of what would I do if I were you, new ideas and maybe some networking opportunities.
If you haven’t found your mentor, build your own one

Two anecdotes leading to one proposal: cavemen and women were not using to do lists why do you? You have the same brain. High performance athletes are selfishly preoccupied by the next step (Ronan O’Gara).
The perspective: scrap that to do list for whatever time you can afford and focus on the intensity
Stable diffusion attempt to merge my two anecdotes’ topics:

I am talking today about the fact that laziness is a lie.
“Laziness is a lie” is an essay from Devon Price.
They reckon laziness is a Western cultural construct defined by 3 attributes:
1 Your worth is defined by your productivity2 You can't trust your needs or limitations as they are barrier to productivity3 There is always more you can be doing
This locks in a system that has been self-reinforcing.
Think about childhood examples “if you don’t work hard enough you will become a homeless person”. Or the idea that some type of people by essence are likely to become homeless.
The objection that you may slow down only if you are rich enough is being fought against by Trisha Hersey.
Not in the sense that everybody is able to take a pause if they want (hence they just need to stop being lazy) but more that we must fight for everybody to get decent sleeps and naps.

I am talking today about fragmented realities.
We all have our old version of the news now. Nothing new except that serendipity is being curtailed down.
On the Ukraine war, as an instance, I see the impact on nature whilst other see migrants’ invasion (besides, if not barring, the actual major facts).
Could it be a way to leverage our needs to check that we are sharing similar info, making things more explicit?

Michael Keating greeted me one day with a “how do I feel?” which made me realise I can‘t be feeling busy! At the very least I could have “busy good” or “busy bad” to expose myself a bit.
Imagine someone telling you I am bored I don't know what to do.
Is the fad about busyness starting to go away?
What if we were seizing any opportunity to ask each other how we feel?
What if your answer is “I am bored” or “I am idle”
