Star hopping is a technique used by amateur astronomers to navigate the night sky and locate specific celestial objects. The technique involves identifying a series of bright stars and using them as a guide to navigate to the target object.  It requires some practice and patience, but it can be a rewarding way to explore the night sky. With some basic knowledge of the constellations and a willingness to learn, anyone can use this technique to enhance their amateur astronomy experience.
