Today, Hafiz and Gilbert are joined by corporate leader, community advocate, international consultant, and one of Canada's most awarded social science graduate researchers, Jason Ribeiro. With a drive and passion for improving the lives of all Canadians, Jason serves on boards and committees within the Alberta Motor Association, Sport Calgary, Global Shapers Calgary, and Education matters, and he regularly represents Canada in international meetings. His current PhD research at the University of Calgary aims to assist organizational leaders in shaping, leading, and sustaining innovation efforts in cross-sector partnerships. It’s an impressive resume, but, as Jason says, all of his success stems from “a kid in his room by himself.” Join Jason, Hafiz, and Gilbert as they discuss the effort and intention that goes into Jason’s community enhancing work, and how he has battled his demons to pursue his purpose.
