Today, Hafiz sits down with Calgary advertising legend Jim Button to discuss his wide-ranging and community-minded career, as well as the huge challenges that he has overcome in his personal life. As the Co-Founder of Village Brewery, Jim gets to exercise his mantra of “doing good is good business” on a daily basis by selling great-tasting beer, setting up community events and fund raisers, and hiring the best talent in Canada. Jim’s so good at his job that he didn’t let a stage four terminal renal cell carcinoma diagnosis slow him down. In fact, he used his illness as an opportunity to open himself up to new ways of being, including adopting mindfulness meditations and other spiritual practices to combat the cancer and connect with life. Join Jim and Hafiz for a discussion about the universal effects of spreading goodness.
