As popular as it seems, the single parent household epidemic should not be as normalized as it appears. All the more rare is it in the African household. However I did get a chance to sit down with a Ghanaian-American who grew up in a single parent household and how that shaped her life. She now has her sights set on reducing the ethnic gap in her profession in the medical field. On this episode we discussed a few items pertaining to her personal life and professional life.
