the first and most pivotal rule to buy vintage is you've just got to put in the legwork. You've just got to be quite persistent with it. I'm not saying go out vintage shopping every day or spend you know your life on eBay, just putting that time and effort into always being in my mind's eye. But charity shop isn't like a high shoot store. It doesn't run season like you aren't guaranteed to go in and find the T dress of your dreams or, you know, the midi skirt of your dreams or whatever it may be, it is luck of the draw.
