I have two questions for you...
What is your ideal financial situation?
And why?
I want you to take a moment to really think about it...
What is it and why?
And now, I'm probably going to offend some of you by saying this...
There is only ONE right answer to the 'Why'.
It doesn't matter how noble you feel your answer is... the only correct answer to the 'why' is 'because I want to'.
Why do you want to make $ $$$ $$$?
To go on holiday?
To retire a loved one?
To buy that thing you want?
To support a charity?
These are all nice ideas... they really are!
But they also put limitations on your ideal financial situation...
What do I mean by that?
Well, what happens when you reach one of those 'why' reasons?
What happens when you succeed?
You have nothing else to go for!
And so, somehow... you find yourself back to where you were... dreaming about your 'ideal financial situation again.
This is what you'd call a negative goal. It's a goal that is capped and doesn't give you limitless space to grow.... whereas choosing to have your ideal financial situation just because you can... that had unlimited potential to grow.
It really is amazing what happens when you take the limitations away... I
