Hey, everybody! We're back from a short summer break and ready to get back on the proverbial horse on this all-new episode. This week, we start things off as we always do, with the Ludicrous Leadoffs. Our first story that's “an extra special kind of special” is of a brand-new game that's being released on disc for both the Wii and the Wii U. After that, we discuss the record amount that was recently paid for a still sealed copy of Super Mario Bros. for the NES. Staying with Nintendo, we share our thoughts on the scale replica LEGO NES set that was revealed this week, which will cost a pretty penny. Speaking of pretty pennies, Sony paid quite a few of them to get a stake in Epic Games, so we'll give details on that before talking about Amazon pulling their first game back from wide release. In this week's Blast From The Past segment, we honor one of the first, big, Marvel movies in X-Men, as well as the rarity that is the Eddie Murphy music album from 1985. Continue reading →
