God desires that we grow as believers and not remain babes feeding on milk. We are to become mature adults in Christ who feed on solid foods.

Each and everyone of us wants to grow and develop, this is because there is a spiritual DNA in us. Once we are born again in Christ we inherit this DNA to grow and become like Him.

As in nature, there is spiritual growth process that can be referred to as spiritual metamorphosis. This involves different phases of growth in a believer's life. From the birth stage when a man becomes born again, through to the stage of spiritual maturity when a believer begins to disciple others.

God wants us to reach the stage of maturity and bring others to His kingdom. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus gave us the great commission that we should go and preach the gospel to all nation's. As matured believers we must need this call.
