This episode examines what I have been building up to and dancing around for some time: how we create reality. We briefly discuss the top four religions of the world, which make up about six of the almost eight billion people on this planet right now. Then we dive into a conversation that happened in the 1600 and 1700s with Descartes, Locke, Hume, and Kant. Descartes gives us his wax example showing how it is not our senses which give us what we know, so do not trust our senses. Lock and Hume react to this with their empirical (with the senses) examples. But then Hume shows us that we also need to be skeptical of the senses. Kant comes along and uses both to show how we actively construct reality.
