A deal has been struck to momentarily halve the number of tariffs on China from the US. This would mean that video game consoles will not have a 25% import tax imposed upon them. Along with consoles, controllers and arcade machines would be included in the currently discarded tariffs that the Trump administration was about to set as tensions started to rise between the two countries.
