sonicPlanet has updated StarWaves, a 3D audio-visual sound app creating dynamic textures and soundscapes within 3D interaction, to v1.3.

This free update brings new features and add-ons:

StarWaves can now use tuning scales for quantizing its pitch modulation. Each StarWaves waveform platform can have its own tuning scale, and the sample base frequency can be typed in / and modulated.

Improved sequencer panel design.

The theme FOV slider acts with floating point precision and can be used on smooth scene transitions.

ThemePark contains the additional "Mars" theme with a dedicated preset.

The new Laurent Mialon abstract IDM preset bank (12 presets) is available as in app purchase for 8.99USD.

StarWaves v1.3 is available on Apple AppStore bundled both for OS X and iOS platforms. The price is 19.99USD but will increase to 29.99USD by beginning of August 2022.
