Who is Sandra Jeffrey?
Since the early 90’s, Sandra A. Jeffrey studied Mandarin Chinese and lived in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. She is the recipient of prestigious scholarships, such as the Rotary and the Fulbright to China. Ms. Jeffrey also studied at The Johns Hopkins University in Nanjing, China to pursue her interest in Chinese. Additionally, Ms. Jeffrey served as the Executive Director of Americans Promoting Study Abroad, an international organization that sent over 350 students from Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles and Washington, DC, etc. to study in China. She has moderated prominent discussions with Johnny C. Taylor, President & CEO of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and was a speaker at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China. Ms. Jeffrey is an advocate and mentor to many students who seek to study a foreign language or travel abroad. She mentored the only student awarded the opportunity to interview First Lady Michelle Obama while she visited Beijing. Ms. Jeffrey is a licensed attorney and graduated from Michigan State University College of Law. She specializes in real estate, contracts, and negotiation. She is fully committed and excited to share her language skills and global experiences with students.
