• I always had the idea that I had to work more, I had to work hard, I had to put in the hours in order to make money. It’s a fallacy that we have to grind and do whatever it takes to earn money. In my first job in the banking industry I was committed to my role, I was the first one in and the last one to leave and I would go beyond, asking for assignments, to prove to my boss and the company that I was a hard worker. But I realised that I needed to work smart instead.
• No matter what skillset you have to offer or environment you’re working in you have value, we are all valuable assets to the organisation. Every skillset I had is transferrable and are with you for life.
