At the age of eight, Leilany had a close bond with her father, being his little girl. However, her life took a terrifying turn when her dad discovered her whereabouts just as Leilany’s mom and her were preparing to relocate once again.
In a horrifying moment, he brandished a gun, threatening both Leilany and her mother in an attempt to take Leilany away from her mother. As an eight-year-old, the fear of that situation caused certain memories to become blurred.
