As a believer, we must die with Christ and no longer live for ourselves. Our “death” is that of the old sinful nature which was nailed to the cross with Christ. Our new lives must represent Christ, fleeing from worldly desires while persevering in Christ's presence.

Let no one water down your belief about God, Never doubt His power! Stand firm in your faith!

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong (1 Corinthians 16:13 NIV).

We are set apart for Him and for His purposes. Being with the Lord will guide us on the path of obedience, fellowship, and rest for our souls. Scripture Reference: He said to them, "Come away by yourselves to a remote place and rest for a while." For many people were coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat (Mark 6:31 CSB).

What does a living sacrifice look like in the practical sense?

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1-2 CSB

Absorb God's word and when faced with trials or temptation, let wisdom guide you into good judgment.

Are you certain of God’s love for you? God proved His love by sending his Son to suffer and die on your behalf. Receive His love!

And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they (Hebrews 1:3-4).

Meditate on the majesty of God. Jesus Christ is above and beyond all other things and upholds all things by the word of His power.

When we allow anxiety, anger, and despair to consume our thoughts what we are doing is minimizing God’s presence and maximizing the problem.

Are you discontent, doubtful, or hopeless about your circumstances? Consider what you’re spending your time thinking about and set your mind on the character of God. The person who finds "rest" in God reveals a sense of contentment and security.

While absolute safety is not guaranteed in this life, those who honor God by obeying His wisdom can be assured that all things will work out for their good (Psalm 3:1–2, Romans 8:28).

Psalm 91:2 God’s Word Translation 2 I will say to the Lord, “⌞You are⌟ my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”

Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Psalm 55:22, NLT

Are you strengthening your mind with the word? Are you making time for uninterrupted fellowship with God? These disciplines are the remedy to help withstand the weight of the burdens you bear.

God has fully equipped us with everything we need for a Godly life. Are you using your Spiritual tools?

How is your pursuit for rest and peace different from the methods the world uses? Do you seek God or seek dysfunctional means for peace?

Satan wants to confuse you. What Word of God are you using to confront him? Declare, “It is written” to his face!!!

Are you connected to the vine? The evidence is fruitfulness—branches not producing any fruit are barren and cut off.

Yielding to God, is active resistance against the devil. He will flee every time!

Scriptural Reference: Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7)

The Lord will soon crush Satan (and whoever follows him) under your feet.

How can we give thanks in all things? Follow these examples…

Is there anything standing between you and the harmony and peace God gives?

Scriptural Reference: “and through him, God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.” (Colossians 1:20 NLT).

Rejoice in God’s power and comfort during affliction!

Scriptural Reference: We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through…We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it.

Scripture Reference: With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. 10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be (James 3:9-10 NIV).

Are the words you speak harmful or helpful?

The Lord will guide your steps in this life. Are you willing to follow?

Hardships are inevitable, but so is peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Embrace your peace!

How do we know God will answer when we ask Him to remove our shortcomings?  Scripture Reference: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. (Matthew 6:6)

Are you keeping a standing appointment with God?

Are you living your life fully conscious of being righteous in God's sight?

Are You living and growing in God’s grace?

What is your most prized possession? Does it bring lasting satisfaction?

How brightly is your light shining? Can others see Christ in your actions?

You come as an invited guest; how can you be denied?
