As we induct three new elders at Scots’ Church, you might be thinking there’s glory and status involved. But the disciple Peter has already learned the hard way that as we serve a crucified King, we need to be reminded that true glory is waiting up ahead. That’s a good reminder not just for our new elders, but for any of us who face challenging times right now.
