Abuse of Jesus is nothing new. The crowds around him laughed, and said “If he’s the anointed King he thinks he is, why doesn’t God save him?” True - it’s hard to discern a real King in the midst of such apparent humiliation. Only one man could see it clearly - the criminal on the cross right beside him. The reality is, this is a Kingdom of forgiveness, not payback; and we’re called to join it.
Join us this Good Friday as we take a look at Luke 23:26-56 in "God Save the King" the fourth sermon in our Easter series on Luke's Gospel!
