Jerri and her sister Joy began their successful trickriding act at the age of nine and seven respectively. Coined "The Flying Duces" because of their high speed horses, they performed acrobatic stunts on horseback across Canada and the United States.

Jerri has also achieve many other extrodinary honors including her recent honor of being inducted at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame’s annual ceremony later this spring.
