Hello everyone! Chris here. If you at all a fan of this show you know that my favorite TV show right now is Arrow. I am a huge fanboy for Oliver and Co. (see what I did there). I decided a few months back that I wanted to do an Arrow costume. I started looking in to it and quickly realized that The Arrow was not going to happen. Time and money are my El Guapo on that project. Then I saw episode 11 "Blind Spot" and saw Slade in full Deathstroke costume. HOLY CRAP was that awesome. It was then that I decided to focus on a Deathstroke costume. Seemed fairly easy and my facial hair (which I REFUSE to shave) would fit the character. I have been scouring the interwebs for costume pieces and I think I have found what I need...for the most part. Below are the pieces to about half to three quarters of my Deathstroke costume.

Mask (paint half orange)

Armor front

Armor back

Leg armor (the red part comes off)

I have an eye patch already. Now I need at least one holster, prop weapons, and the pants and that pretty much takes care of things.

Speaking of prop weapons...I have a wooden samuari sword (a bokken) for practicing. I am considering getting a real sword. I would never take a real sword to a convention, but it could give it that extra zing for pictures. I have looked in to some sword dealers online and the best one I have found has got to be Swords of the East. I have always like samuari swords and would love to learn more about how to properly use one. They do not kid around at Swords of the East, either. Their swords are top quality and expensive but you get what you pay for. If I make the jump to a high-quality real sword it would be quite the investment. NOTE: They do have some AMAZING movie replica swords as well.

So what do you guys think of my costume idea? I personally love the mask. Do you guys think it is a good Deathstroke mask? Should I invest my child's college fund on a proper sword to really make this costume epic? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter. Thanks!
