Fresh back from the VHL Symposium in Houston, Joyce Graff and guests talk about the highlights of the conference, and what they gained by going. Von HIppel-Lindau disease is a genetic cancer syndrome.  The VHL gene plays a role in most kidney cancer in the general population and at least 30% of all pheochromocytomas.  It is a challenging condition to live with.  Scientifically, research on the VHL gene is helping to unlock the secrets of cancer for everyone. Please feel free to call in and ask questions.
