We spoke in our last gathering of the Biblical reference to Babylon. How it's not only a physical-historical place, but spiritually, it typifies the kingdom of the world system apart from God. In Ch 13 God promises the destruction of the kingdom of Babylon -- all that it stands for-. In Ch 14 He promises the destruction of its king.
