Dear Matisse,

In the messy world of trans and queer dating discourse, I sometimes hear opposing takes on whether trans people can themselves be chasers. Some people say no, if you’re trans then you can’t be a chaser, and that’s wanting T4T relationships is not the same as cis people (mostly men) seeking to date trans people. Others say that being trans does not automatically mean you’re in the clear. Do you have thoughts on this? I’m not looking for a fully settled answer, just want to know your opinion.

Thanks,
I Don’t Want to Date Cis People
