Our tale begins as three unlikely companions find themselves at odds with a group of scorned damsels, and take on a “simple job” that may prove to be their undoing.

In the first part of this episode, we meet our characters. Serran, a common miner transformed into a living crystal. Lyal, An entitled Half-Elf cast from his father's riches. And Smaragd, a Dragonborn burdened with powerful knowledge.
