Here are five questions to ask yourself when logging into Instagram:
- Is my desire to connect with others on Instagram (or social media) stronger than my desire to connect with the Lord?
- Is my desire to know “all the things” posted for today greater than seeking what God desires for us to know through His Word?
- Is watching reels more satisfying than meditating on the truths in Scripture?
- Have I developed a fleshly desire for affirmation through likes and follows rather than seeking the approval of God alone?
- Do I actually believe that the Bible contains God’s actual words? Do I truly believe the revelation He’s provided for the Scriptures is living, active, profitable, and capable of meeting my every need?
