The Stories media format is now used by billions of consumers and copied by every major social network on the planet. In this very special episode, we take a peek inside the call that started it all. This was recorded a decade ago, and was just found in an old, dusty place on the internet.

It gives us an inside look into the creative process for how the Stories new media format, and StoryApp, was concepted and created from scratch. It also includes the animated emoji that understood emotion from your voice and reacted accordingly (referred to as the Artifact in the call).

Team members on the call include Sean Everett, Tragnark, and Chin Fong but also reference other members, Jerod Chirico and Tina Shah. Two other members, Sam Baumgarten and Jon Miller, could not make the call.
