Benard Tabu is a Ugandan physicist pursuing a PhD in Energy Engineering Specializing in Renewable Energy at UMass Lowell joins us in studio this weekend. His research focusses on applications of Solar and Plasma (lightning) for chemical synthesis. Born in Gulu District at the height of NRA war shares what it was like growing up in the IDP camps with his mother, going to school through thick and thin and somehow managing to graduate with honors at Gulu University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education (Physics and Mathematics). He then went on to graduate with a Masters in Physics Specializing in Solar Energy from Makerere University Kampala. This is his story!
