Chronic Ill THIS

It's 2022 and everyday on the radio you can just listen and deals are being made, politicians and CEOs are throwing around billions left and right like it's play money, a few billion here, a trillion there, but then when someone is sick and suffering, good luck on getting any help without begging or digging for it, without fighting tooth and nail. Going to agencies who are only to willing to reject you and make the process of getting help tedious, strenuous, painful, and overly difficult when your life is already horrible and you don't have the energy to fight.

This podcast will eventually explore solutions, bringing those resources and organizations who are there to help together and making them easier to find, and if they don't exist then it's time to create them and let's see what we can do together to make that happen.

There's no reason that people who have chronic illnesses and disabilities should be swept aside and told, too bad for you, you have to wait in line and beg the right agencies for help, that may eventually help you possibly maybe but also maybe not. I'm sorry that you live in a terrible situation and the circumstance for a toxic environment but too bad for you you need to be on the street living in a homeless shelter that you're not able to physically survive in before we will even consider getting you a safe place to live and possibly recover.

It's time for a change, and I don't know. Maybe nothing will come of this but I at least need to God damn try.

Join me for another thrilling episode of Chronic Ill THIS!!

I'm sure some of you are struggling, because I know I am, when you're chronically ill or you're disabled and you can't work and you don't know how to make any money and you don't have any benefits coming in? We don't all have friends and family that we can borrow from and even if we do it's not indefinite we can't just borrow money every time we need it from Friends or family because it's not like they have an income that they can just give out to you anytime you need it either.. so what do we do? Go to the Facebook page @chronicillthis or join my discord and get involved in the discussion: https://discord.gg/NW4JJuv

As unprofessionally professional as possible, as usual, I start out with a thought that I just had which is how in the hell can we ever expect to heal from our illnesses when the life outside of our illnesses is a battleground, where we are overwhelmed with other stuff that have nothing to do with our illnesses? I try to think of the most basic positive thing I can have in my life and then I decide how, why not, I'm going to do a prayer. And not some nambi pambi koombiya prayer like I hear in many sermons, that make me want to vomit in my mouth, but a really solid real talk prayer. By the way there are two ways that you can find me. One is on Facebook under the chronic ill this page, any other is on discord. https://discord.gg/NW4JJuv but look if you join either of those especially the discord, drop a line and let us know that you found it from this podcast. Cheers!

Chronic illness doesn't care about John's plans for today because chronic illness sucks! Look up my page on Facebook under chronic ill this @chronocillthis to give me feedback, suggestions, ask questions, join in the discussion or whatever else you want... I'm going to keep plugging away, and hopefully soon I can start getting some ideas on help and solutions for us all.

Well because I have dealt with the horrible phenomena over the years of people who are supposed to be in areas where they're apparently there to help you, but end up being a hindrance or a problem, or that make things worse and I just wanted to kind of throw out a rant about that. As always you can send feedback, suggestions, ideas or anything else to me at chronicillthis@gmail.com . I am even open to suggestions on how I can sort of find one good platform where we can have conversations about all this stuff in a more streamlined sense because I am on many platforms right now and I don't know how to keep up with all of them. Cheers.

Basically I'm starting out talking about my situation with my housing and no money and the other hopelessness of my situation, maybe some of you can relate. I bounce around talking about friends, support, and my relationship with God and how at this point of my life I need a miracle and quick. Again, maybe some of you are there now or have been there and can relate. chronicillthis@gmail.com is where you can drop a line if you have questions or suggestions or help or comments or anything.

It's the only way I can describe it. I was having a conversation with my therapist the other day and about how the layers of having a chronic illness or disability go far beyond just the disability itself. Let's talk about it.

Trying to lay down the groundwork how about to tell you the story about how I got to being the sick and suffering person but I am today, my personal struggles and journeys. How I ended up living where I live now in an apartment that very likely is making me more sick and I need to be, without any ability to move somewhere else. Perhaps laying down this ground work, will connect with some of you have had similar experiences, or educate you if you have not. Then I realized after I recorded part 1, that there are key elements missing as far as the emotional traumas that I have had to suffer, but that's what brain fog does. So that's why I'm going to do this in parts. I hope you enjoy the first episode or at least possibly learn something or feel some sort of connection. I hate to say, You're Not alone, or other cliching nonsense like that. It never makes us feel any better I think someone at some point thought it was supposed to. But there it is. You're not alone. Sorry. Enjoy.

Where's the help when we need it? There's money everywhere, there's enough for resources everywhere, there's empty buildings everywhere or empty units. But when you're sick and suffering the world doesn't care. People put on airs, organizations seem to be set up left and right that are supposed to be helping but they don't. They're just soaking up the non-profit money and it trickles down to who knows where but not to us. Not to the sick and suffering who need it. Or maybe some of these organizations are trying their best and those are the ones that aren't being funded. And none of us are famous or Rich or popular, so good luck on that GoFundMe. I've decided I'm going to start a podcast. The purpose of this podcast is we need to bring a community together that can help the sick and suffering, the disabled, the chronically ill, so that we can somehow thrive and survive in 2022 and beyond. We're not living in the dark ages anymore, there's plenty of money flying around everyday, taxpayer money being put to use for who knows what but not for us, not for the people in this country who it should be intended for. Let's figure it out. Let's figure it out together. This is my initial rant, of my current situation, maybe some of you can identify. But down the road I'm going to try and figure out a way to bring solutions to this podcast for everyone and if some of these resources are not out there yet, let's make it happen! Because enough is enough!
