In this episode, we break down how expensive it is to be disabled in America. There’s not a lot of effort in fixing the issue of poverty in the disability community. The little resources that are available for disabled folks are simply not enough. One of the roots of ableism is how society creates barriers for disabled people to live financially independent. It is important to dissect all of the expenses that exist in a disabled person's life. You’ll see why society needs to do better with assisting disabled folks! Pay disabled people for their services.
