Suicide is the most popular death globally.  The importance of suicide is bringing awareness to see the signs, respond by listening, and/or be the one to help prevent suicide.  While stats show that suicide shows a slow downtrend, its not going down anytime soon as the trends are going back up.  According to CDC, more than 47,500 people died by suicide in 2019, that's one death every 11 minutes.  CDC also says that many adults think about suicide or attempt suicide, twelve million seriously thought about suicide, 3.5 million made a plan for suicide and 1.4 million attempted suicide.  There are basic ways to prevent suicide.  Listen in to learn more about suicide and help prevent it.
