Rejoice - to show great joy or delight

Psalm 5:11But let all those rejoice who put their trust in

You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend

them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in

You. 12 For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;

With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

● The Message says “Let the party last all night”

● Amplified says “Be joyful and in high spirits”

● The Voice says “Breakout in joyful sound”

● The Passion says “Shout Your praise forever, sing

& rejoice”

Psalm 68:3 But let the righteous be glad; Let them

rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.

● The Message says “They’ll laugh and sing for joy”

● Amplified says “Let them jubilantly rejoice”

● The Voice says “Let them celebrate”

● The Passion says “Get carried away with gladness”

Psalm 47:1 Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!

Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

● The Message says “Shout God-songs at the top of

your lungs”

● The Voice says “Raise your voice joyfully, and

loudly”

● The Passion says “Come on and clap your hands

everyone! Shout to God with the raucous sounds

of joy!” - raucous - a disturbingly harsh and loud

noise

Hab 3:17 Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit

be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail,

stalls— 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the

God of my salvation.

Luke 10:20 Jesus said “rejoice because your names are

written down in heaven”

● Jesus knows there is more to salvation than just

“fire insurance”

money or good deeds, but with the precious blood

of Jesus.
