Sarai out of her insecurity told Abram to have a child by Hagar, her servant, so that Abram could have the son that he always wanted, but when Ishmael came it was not what Sarai intended and she ended up hating Hagar for it, but God didn't ignore Hagar or leave Ishmael without anything even though that was Sarai's intention. God blessed Ishmael because he was from Abram and also part of the covenant. Even if you are distressed or someone is holding you back keeping you down.
