But my day wouldn't be complete without sharing some quick thoughts on this new VAULT COMICS series

World-building is never easy, but I think they accomplished that task with this premiere issue
The overall tone and unfolding of the first act really reminds me of an alien invasion movie. You know, the Will Smith Independence Day kind
We're introduced to several characters, whom I'm assuming will play key roles later. Each is in playing out an emotional charged scene.. domestic abuse, a wedding, broken marriage etc, which helps us to quickly empathize with the characters.
This is a genius move by the writers, because by the time the blood starts flying, we're already emotionally invested in their stories and how each is going to play out in the wake of such horrific events
Btw.. the panel in the video is exactly how the issue closes
Definitely picking up Issue 2 ๐ฌ
