We take pieces and crumbs from the Bread of Life and get our fill! A daily 15-30 minute podcast talking about pieces of Scripture, the Holy Bible, and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. This podcast will go into the deep theologies of the Scripture and as said in Proverbs 2, we will dig for the hidden treasures of God in His Word. (vs. 4)
In this episode, we talk about the beginning of the trumpet judgements, why they come, and how devastating they are.
Revelation is a pause or a parenthetical chapter. One that does not necessarily go in chronological order, but is there to show us the love our God has for us
John is raptured into heaven by God (The Holy Spirit). Here we see the very throne and what true worship is
The longest letter given to the smallest city. What does Jesus have to say to this church in the vibrant town of Thyatira. Who was Jezebel? Jesus promises the morning star but wasnt both He and Satan referred to as the morning star? What does that mean?
Pergamos or Pergamum was the pagan capital of Asia during the Roman Empire. Christ saw the compromise and the "tolerance" the church permitted and what it had done. Christ gives us powerful words. In fact, it's the very two-edged sword and it will come down.
This letter is sombering, but heart warming as well. This city of myrrh production would be the home of a church which would closely tie with the fragrant spice. But as myrrh, the more it was crushed, the more the sweet smelling aroma spread.
In the book of Revelation, Jesus Christ addresses seven literal churches in Asia Minor (modern day Turkey). These letters are not simply letters to churches of a bygone day. They are letters given to let us know what Christ wants to see and not see in His Church. The letter to Ephesus is one we can very much see relating in churches today. Formerly pastored by the disciple of love (John), they had left their first love.
Beginning our study in the Book of Revelation. We give a general overview of this great book and we begin a verse by verse of Revelation 1.
In this episode we continue our study of end times prophecy(eschatology). The Olivet Discourse is sometimes the most misunderstood set of Scriptures when it comes to end times prophecy. In this episode Josiah breaks it down giving an understanding of the context and showing the order and beautiful direction Christ gave to us as believers and to the nation of Israel.
We continue our study of 1 John 4 in this episode. John goes over some of His previous teachings on the Antichrist as well as love. John emphasizes the very importance of love with the statement that "God is love." When the Christian looks at this in the proper perspective, it gives us a lot to look at. The world gives a wrong impression of love. Today's world says that love is acceptance, but is that the truth? Should Christians call out sin? Absolutely. Just as a doctor should never hide a cancer diagnosis from a patient, we should never conceal a sin diagnosis to one another. In fact, if we hide such things, that is not showing love, but hatred towards our brother and sister in Christ.
We finish the study of 1 John 3. John had told us the importance of love, now he finishes the chapter by telling us how love should look. The outworking of love.
In this episode, we finish our study in chapter 2 of 1 John. We find in this chapter who really is our teacher.
In the second part of this series, we go over the definition of antichrist again and talk about some of the characteristics of an antichrist? Why? Because they are among us today, in our very churches and in Christian culture and we need to be calling them out. We need to be taking a stand against any false teaching of Jesus Christ.
Antichrist. When we hear that term, many of us automatically think of the end times. Sometimes we think of movies like the Omen or even the Exorcist. The term has become a term of horror and fear for many, even amongst Christians.
Who is the Antichrist though and who are antichrists? Well, let's take a snippet here from God’s Word in 1 John 2.

We are under attack. The world around us is attractive and we are naive if we think otherwise. John addresses BELIEVERS in his letter. Why is this important? Sometimes as believers we feel that we are immune to temptation. That we are immune to the things of the world, but that is drastically wrong! 1 John 2 tells us how to overcome the world and later on in Chapter 5, we will get another reminder. So, how are we to overcome the world? Listen to the podcast to find out!
